Red Cross society first-aid training course from tomorrow
Chandigarh, April 17 Fee for training will be Rs 400 per person and it will include physical training course material and fee for tests. Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman (Red Cross Society) Arun Kumar launched the training manual developed by the society. The manual will be supplied free of cost to all trainees, all government schools and Police Control Room (PCR) vehicles involved in emergency relief. It had been decided to provide first-aid kits to all PCR vehicles to help them serve the people better. A practical training to handle burn cases, bandage, artificial respiration, transportation of injured persons, handling of heart attack cases, head injuries, emergency aid in schools, first-aid to victims of road accident, victims of snakebites shall also be given. |
