Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Uttaranchal. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh, fell appreciably in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan, fell in west Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, appreciably below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 42.0°C recorded at Varanasi A.P. (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 11: Rain/thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region. Isolated squall is likely in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Uttaranchal.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 11: Mainly clear sky with possibility of thundry development in some areas towards evening/night. The maximum temperature will be around 34°C.
