Rainfall: Rain/thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, appeciably below normal in Haryana and Punjab, below normal in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 34.6°C recorded at Gorakhpur.

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures fell in Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departure: They were below normal in west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 11.2°C recorded at Adampur.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 27: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Punjab and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 27: Partly cloudy sky. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 31°C and 17°C respectively.
