Rain/thundershowers have occurred at most places in Punjab, at many places in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in west Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures fell largely in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab, fell markedly in west Rajasthan, fell appreciably in Haryana, fell in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

These were above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, largely below normal in Punjab, markedly below normal in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, appreciably below normal in Haryana and west Rajasthan, below normal in Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 39.2°C recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).
