Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in west Rajasthan, rose in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, appreciably below normal in west Uttar Pradesh, below normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 34.3°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: The minimum temperatures changed little over the region.

Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, above normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 10.4°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 15: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 15: Partly cloudy sky. Mist likely in the morning. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 29°C and 15°C respectively.
