New Delhi, March 3
Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at a few places in Punjab and at isolated places in Rajasthan. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. Bhuntar (Himachal Pradesh) has recorded at 1 cm. of rainfall.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: The maximum temperatures rose appreciably in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, rose in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, fell in east Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in east Rajasthan, appreciably bejow normal in Punjab and normal in the rest of the region. The highest maximum temperature in the region was 36.4°C recorded at Jhalawar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 5: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 5: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development/light rain in some areas. The maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 31°C and 14°C respectively.
