Cold wave conditions have abated from Haryana and east Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Uttaranchal, rose in Punjab and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 6.1°C recorded at Udaipur city (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 26: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 26: Partly cloudy sky. Minimum temperature will be around 10°C.
