Cold wave conditions have abated from Haryana and east Rajasthan.

Rain/snow has occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather was dry in the rest of the region.
Temperatures:
Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose appreciably in Uttaranchal, rose in Punjab and Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest minimum temperature in the plains was 6.1°C recorded at Udaipur city (Rajasthan).
Forecast valid until the morning of February 26: Rain/snow is likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
