Weather was dry in east Uttar Pradesh.

These were markedly above normal in west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, above normal in Punjab and Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.6°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).
