Rainfall: Rain/snow has occurred at most places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at a few places in Uttaranchal. Rain/thundershowers have occurred at many places in Punjab, at a few places in Haryana and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of precipitation in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dharampur 3, Ghamroor 2 and Bhunter 1; and Jammu and Kashmir: Katra 4 and Quazigund 2.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan, rose in Punjab and west Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Punjab and west Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 10ºC recorded at Agra (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 11: Rain/snow will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir. Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan and at isolated places in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 11: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundry development/light rain in some areas. Mist/shallow fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 10ºC.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of February 11: Light rain is likely at a few places.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
