Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were below normal in West Rajasthan, appreciably above normal in Uttar Pradesh, above normal in east Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 2.2°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).
