Ludhiana, January 1
A 10-day NSS camp concluded at the Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women, Gujarkhan Campus, here today.

The Principal of the college, Dr Anup Kaur Bansal, presided over the valedictory function. Ms Manmeet Kaur was the guest of honour on the occasion. Volunteers presented a cultural programme on the occasion.

During the camp, volunteers visited Dr Ambedkar Nagar and tried to create social awareness among slum dwellers. They also attended workshops on personal grooming, flower making and nutritious cooking.

Another 10-day NSS camp concluded at GCW, Ludhiana, here today. The closing ceremony was held in the college auditorium.

Ms Indira Gandhi, Principal, Government College for Boys, Ludhiana, was the chief guest on the occasion.

The function was presided over by Ms Narinder Sekhon, Vice-Principal, GCW, Ludhiana. Programme officers Gurjinder Kaur and Preet Damanv extended a warm welcome to the audience.
