Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh and west Rajasthan, above normal in Haryana, east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 3.6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 20: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 20: Mainly clear sky. Fog in the morning. Slight fall in night temperature. Minimum temperature will be around 8°C.
