No compromise on job scheme: Yechury Shimla, December 11 He also said being members of the UPA government at the Centre, the Left parties were keen to implement common minimum programmes in all Congress-ruled states. He said this would help in forgins better coordination and understanding between like-minded parties. Mr Yechury, added that if the Bill was passed in Parliament it would give the right to strike to employees and demand the setting up of the next Pay Commission. Mr Yechury also clarified that the support of the Left parties to the government was conditional to the implementation of the CMP. “So far no concrete decisions have been taken on policy matters pertaining to its implementation as focus on issues like foreign policy and Planning Commission,” he added. The continuation of the CPM support to the UPA regime greatly depended on their willingness to implement the CMP. |
