Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperature: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperature fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: These were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Haryana and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 6°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab) and Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of December 5: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of December 5: Mainly clear sky. Mist/fog in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 11°C.
