Candidates allege ‘harassment’ during counselling
Mandi Ahmedgarh, September 30
The Department of Medical Education and Science, Government of Punjab, has not received any complaints in connection with the counselling being organised by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences for admission to BAMS classes under management quota, claimed departmental sources. The candidates from other states, however, alleged harassment on the hands of the authorities during the counselling.

On the second day of a regional-level science exhibition competitions in model making were held.
Students prepared models on topics like agriculture, industrial development, educational technology, mathematical modelling, technology for health and solid waste and its management etc.
Khanna school wins shabad gayan contest
Ludhiana, September 30
The cultural and dance competitions at primary, middle and senior levels, which were organised by the Punjab School Education Board, concluded here today. About 200 students from four districts, Sangrur, Ludhiana, Patiala and Mansa, participated in the competitions.

NSS camp at Khalsa College
Ludhiana, September 30
A 10-day NSS camp is being organised at Khalsa College for Women, Ludhiana, under the guidance of programme officers Gurdeep Kaur, Prabhleen Toor and Honey Walia.
About 147 volunteers are attending the camp. It was inaugurated by the NSS co-ordinator, Dr K.S. Verma, PAU, on September 26.
