Ludhiana, June 25
A s many as 234 NCC cadets of the city participated in 11-days’
summer annual training camp of the 19 Punjab Battalion NCC held under
the command of Lieut Col Vinay Mullick, Camp Commandant, at JNV
School, Farour, Himachal Pradesh.
A press release issued by NCC unit here, the camp commenced on June 15 and concluded today.
Col Kuldip Singh, the group Cdr of NCC Gp HQ, Ludhiana, visited the camp on June 24. He inspected the camp and also spoke to the cadets.
The camp Commandant Lieut Col Vinay Mullick said that despite the inclement weather the cadets remained active and showed a lot of enthusiasm during the annual training camp.
A cultural show was organised today by the cadets. Mr M Lakshmanan Principal JNV School, Farour, was the chief guest. Prizes for firing, drill, guard of honour, best cadets and cultural show were given to the deserving cadets.
