Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir today. The weather was dry in the rest of the region.

Temperatures (Past 24 hours): The maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: they were markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 43.3°C recorded at Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid till the morning of April 15: Rain/thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorms/thunderstorms are likely in Haryana and Rajasthan. The weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid till the morning of April 15: Mainly clear. Thundery development accompanied with squall is likely in some areas. The maximum temperature will be around 39°C.
