Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and changed little elsewhere. Departures: These were appreciably above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41.4ºC recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 4: Rain/thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Punjab and north Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 4: Mainly clear sky likely to become partly cloudy tomorrow. Maximum temperature will be around 38ºC.
