Bhiwani, March 8
The Haryana Board of School Education is organising an anti-copying seminar tomorrow to enlist the active cooperation of Principals, panches and sarpanches of Bhiwani district for the senior secondary and matric annual examinations commencing on March 12 and 13, respectively.
The seminar will be presided over by the Chairman of the board, Brigadier O. P. Chaudhry (retd), VSM. While stating this today, a spokesman of the board said the headmasters or Principals of 72 examination centres of Bhiwani district situated in rural areas and the panches/ sarpanches concerned would participate in the seminar. He said this year 5.70 lakh candidates would appear in these examinations. For this purpose, 2100 examination centres had been set up by the board.
He said three panchayats of Jui Khurd which played a significant role in checking copying during the middle annual examinations would be given a cash prize of Rs 2,100 each during this seminar.
