Class X students given farewell

Ludhiana, March 6
Class X students of Shanti Niketan Adarsh Vidya Mandir were given a warm farewell here today.
There was bhajan recital and shabad. Shipra and Neha presented a skit “Samosa”. While Jasbir Singh danced on “It’s the time to disco”. Pawanjot and Gurpreet presented a skit “Nimbu pani” and Amardeep and his team presented a skit titled “Ghuggi da viah”.

Various dance items were presented and several games were organised. The girls’ team was represented by Shilpa, Gaganpreet, Harneet and Heena while the boys’ team was led by Amardeep, Rajan, Amarjit and Amit. In one-minute games, Aanchal, Gurpreet, Amarjit and Gaurav Soni were declared winners.

Kids celebrate Holi: Kids of Small Wonders Nursery School, Kiddies Paradise, Pearls Nursery School and New SMD Senior Secondary School celebrated Holi here on Saturday. Children of Small Wonders Nursery School came in a specific dress code.

DPS get-together: Delhi Public School (DPS) organised its first get-together on its new campus near South City here on Friday. The parents were taken round the campus. They were told about school bus and van routes. They were introduced with the 30 staff members. The parents planted saplings near the boundary walls. Mr Sanjiv Kumar, Pro-Vice Chairman, DPS School, Ludhiana, answered their queries.

Amaan, Ayaan Bangash perform

Ludhiana, March 6
Amaan Ali and Ayaan Ali Bangash, sons of sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, performed on the premises of SPS Apollo Hospital here yesterday.
Shivamani played drums while Sukhwinder was on the tabla. Pandit Krishan Maharaj accompanied Shivamani Rakesh Prassana played the flute. Vocalists Sukhdev Singh and Mohan Singh also performed.
