PAU honours two progressive farmers
Ludhiana, March 4
Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) honoured Mr Mahinder Singh Grewal of Kangarwal village, Ludhiana, and Mr Balbir Singh Jaria of Dharamgarh village, Fatehgarh Sahib, with the Sardar Dalip Singh Dhaliwal Memorial Award during the opening of two-day kisan mela here today.

Rival teacher unions hold rallies
Khanna, March 4
Leaders of the Punjab Pardesh Teachers Union and the Democratic Teachers Front levelled allegations against each other at parallel protest rallies organised in front of the SDM’s office here on Thursday.
In view of the tension owing to the rallies, heavy police force was deployed.
