Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little.Departure: They were markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal, appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in Punjab and Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34.2°C recorded at Bharatpur (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were below normal in east Uttar Pradesh, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 5.0°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of March 5: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
