Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in east Rajasthan and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: This was markedly above normal in Jammu and Kashmir, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 34.7°C recorded at Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir, west Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh, west Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 6.4°C recorded at Adampur.

Forecast valid until the morning of March 3: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of March 3: Mainly clear sky. Strong surface winds likely during afternoon. Maximum and minimum temperature will be around 28°C and 13°C respectively.
