Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region the lowest temperature in the plains was 9°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of 28th February 2004: Rain or snow is likely at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of 28th February 2004: Partly cloudy with possibility of thundery development/light rain in some areas. Minimum temperature will be around 13°C.
