Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region. Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were markedly above normal in Himachal Pradesh, appreciably above normal in Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 8.2°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 27: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.
