PAU News Ludhiana, February 21 In his presidential remarks, Dr Deol said the bee-keeping was a rapidly-expanding profession. Thanking the farmers, Dr Ramesh Kumar, head, Department of Floriculture and Landscaping, said that the two courses were complementary to each other as bees played an important role in pollination of flowers. Dr Pardeep Kumar Chhuneja, technical co-ordinator, said an educational tour was also arranged for the farmers to give them practical training.
Dr Oberoi is chief of vet council Dr M.S. Oberoi, Dean, College of Veterinary Sciences, Punjab Agricultural University, has been elected as the president of the Punjab State Veterinary Council. The council and regulates professional activities of the veterinary graduates under the overall guidance of the Veterinary Council of India. The council also maintains a register of the veterinary graduates working in government, semi-government and private sectors. |
