SEMINAR: ICFAI University, based at Hyderabad, organised a seminar on “Career Opportunities in Finance and Management” here. Vikal, at Gandhi Bhavan, here on Thursday. The event began with the recitation of poems of Kumar Vikal by Dr Neerja Sood. Speaking on the occasion, Prof Dharmanand Sharma, former chairperson of the Department of Philosophy, exhorted the participants and the audience to be their own candlelight. Dead: A 13-year-old son of a newspaper employee died on Thursday when he slipped in the bathroom of his house in Sector 48.
Sumit, son of Surinderpal Sharma, was taken to hospital and was declared brought dead.
