Guru Nanak Khalsa record thumping win New Delhi, February 12 Jatinder Kumar opened the account in the eighth when he converted a penalty corner and scored the second goal too, in the 21st minute, converting another penalty corner. Harinder Saini went on a scoring spree in the second half, knocking in three goals in a row while Sukhwinder completed the tally. St. Joseph College, Bangalore trounced Youth Affairs and Adventure Sports, LNIPE, Gwalior 4-0. Dennis scored the first goal in the 12th minute while Varun Chinnappa struck home the second and fourth goals. In between, Bipin Mandanna scored the third goal. H W Bhatnagar takes charge as BHEL CMD New Delhi, February 12 BHEL is the largest engineering and manufacturing enterprise of its kind in the country, besides being one of the leading players in the international power arena. A Mechanical Engineering Graduate (1966) of University of Roorkee (now IIT Roorkee), Mr Bhatnagar joined BHEL in 1967 and rose to the position of Director, Industrial Systems and Products (IS and P) in October 2000. Mr Bhatnagar has made significant contributions in various key functions, including domestic and international marketing, production, maintenance, management services etc. Under his stewardship as Director (IS and P), BHEL’s industry sector achieved several significant milestones, including a quantum jump of over 45 per cent in order booking in the last three years, besides entering new business areas. Earlier, as Executive Director of BHEL’s Haridwar complex, Mr Bhatnagar was instrumental in multiple growth in turnover and profit of the Haridwar Unit and its entry in overseas markets for large gas turbines, besides ISO 14001 Environmental Certification of BHEL, Haridwar, making it the first heavy engineering capital equipment manufacturing PSU. |
