Hanspal rules out contesting from Ludhiana

The Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president, Mr H.S. Hanspal, today set to rest the speculations about the possibility of his contesting from Ludhiana parliamentary constituency in the ensuing general elections. Raids by Central Excise on Aarti Steel

As many as 50 officials of the intelligence wing of the Central Excise department conducted surprise raids at the production unit of Aarti Steels Ltd in Industrial Area. Simultaneous raids were conducted at the residential premises of the owners in the Gurdev Nagar area also.
