Parents told not to put extra pressure on their wards Fardibad: A parent orientation programme was held at the Eicher School here recently to make the parents of the students aware the philosophy and ethos of the institution and help them to understand the psychology of the teachers and the students. According to Mrs Ritu Kohli, the principal of the school, Dr D. R. Vij, retired dean of the Punjabi University, Patiala, who was the chief guest at the occasion also gave a detailed view of the aspect to the parents. Dr Vij advocated for the removal of the undue and excess pressure of books on the children and a lot of motivation, guidance, support and help from their parents so that they could easily tackle the increased stress and the expectations from all around. Mrs Kohli urged the audience not to put excess pressure of performance on their wards if they wanted a healthy growth. Mr H. D. S Malhotra, Chairman Eicher Group, was also present and gave away scholar badges to meritorious students on the occasion.
