Normalcy in milk supply restored
New Delhi, December 8
The supply of milk in Delhi dipped by 20 per cent in the third week of August this year, but normalcy was restored later, the government told the Lok Sabha today. The reason for shortage in Delhi and some other cities was acute drought conditions prevailing during the last three years in various states, the Minister of State for Agriculture, Mr Hukumdeo Narayan Yadav, said in a written reply.

Trader shot dead in Pilkhua, Rs 1.35 lakh looted
Ghaziabad, (Pilkhua), December 8
In a daring daylight robbery, three armed miscreants shot dead a Hapur trader (sugar merchant) and escaped with his bag containing Rs1.35 lakh. The trader was rushed to a hospital by fellow traders, but succumbed to his injuries on the way.

Azadpur trader murder solved, two held

With the arrest of two persons, the North-West district police have claimed to have solved the murder case of a trader in the Azadpur area. The police have arrested the accused, identified as Sanjay (24) and Sonu (23), both residents of Malkaganj, and recovered a country-made weapon from their possession.
