Call to raise creamy layer income limit

Mr Ved Prakash Vidrohi, president of Gramin Bharat, a voluntary organisation of South
Haryana, has made a written representation to the chairman of the National Backward Classes Commission, urging him to raise the annual income limit of the creamy layer among the OBC’s (Other Backward Classes) from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh with immediate effect.
