Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures rose in Haryana and changed little elsewhere. Depatrure: They were appreciably above normal in Haryana and Rajasthan, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 9.5°C recorded at Amritsar (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of November 7: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of November 7: Partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundery development in some areas. Mist in the morning. Minimum temperature will be around 15°C.
