Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures fell in east Uttar Pradesh and changed little elsewhere. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Himachal Pradesh, above normal in Jammu and Kashmir and west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 36.8°C, recorded at Jalore (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were normal over the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 12.4°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 26: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Jammu and Kashmir and east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 26: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 32°C and 17°C, respectively.
