Rainfall: Weather was dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed a little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in Uttaranchal above normal in Himachal Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 38.°5C recorded at Jodhpur (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in east Uttar Pradesh and changed a little elsewhere. Departure: They were appreciably below normal in Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 11.4°C recorded at Sarsawa (Uttar Pradesh).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 16: Weather will be dry over the region.
