Rainfall:
Weather was dry over the region.
Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were appreciably above normal in west Rajasthan, above normal in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 41°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures changed little. Departure: They were below normal in Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region. The lowest temperature in the plains was 15°C recorded at Adampur (Punjab).

Forecast valid until the morning of October 6: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of October 6: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperatures will be around 33°C and 19°C, respectively.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of October 6: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
