Rainfall:
Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in Jammu and Kashmir, at a few places in east Rajasthan and east Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, west Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Weather was dry in Haryana. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Himachal Pradesh — Kangra and Nagrotasurian 2 each and Ghamroor 1; Jammu and Kashmir — Batote 2 and Banihal, Jammu, Katra, Pahalgam, Quazigund and Srinagar 1 each; Punjab — Amritsar 2; east Rajasthan — Nathdwara 5, Devgarh 3, Kumbhalgarh and Rajsamand 2 each and Railmagra 1; west Rajasthan — Jodhpur 1.Forecast valid until the morning of September 28, 2003: Rain or thundershowers are likely at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Punjab, east Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
