Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan, at a few places in Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather was dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Ayanagar, Tajewala 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Guler 8, Nagrotasurian 7, Bharwain and Paonta 2 each and Ghamroor 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Katra and Patti 3 each, Punjab: Shahpurkandi 7 and Madhopur and Ranjit Sagar Dam 2 each, East Rajasthan: Banswara, Galiakot, Jhadol, Kesarpura and Rajsmand 4 each, Danpur and Garhi 3 each, Chikli, Devas, Rainbasera and Udaisagar 2 each and Bhimsagar, Bhopalsagar, Dhambola, Khandar and Sawanbhado 1 each, East Uttar Pradesh: Ghazipur, Kakardharighat and Katerniaghat 3 each, Balrampur and Balmikinagar 2 each and Khadda 1, West Uttar Pradesh: Bareilly 2 and Kalpi 1 and Uttaranchal: Bausan 8, Banbasa 7, Haripur 4 and Pantnagar 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 24: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir and east Rajasthan and at isolatd places in Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in west Rajasthan.
