Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan and west Uttar Pradesh, a few places in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Punjab. Weather was mainly dry in west Rajasthan. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Delhi Bridge 13, New Delhi (Safdarjung) 4, Delhi Ridge and Rohtak 3 each and Rewari 2, Himachal Pradesh: Solangnala 1, Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 1, Punjab: Nangal 1, East Rajasthan: Lalsot 13, Sikrai 10, Aligarh, Dausa and Galwania 7 each, Bharatpur 6, Galwa and Motisagar 5 each, Nainwa 4, Hindoli, Mandalgarh, Nagar, Piplda, Tonk and Talabshahi 3 each and Bhanwargarh, Bijoliya, Niwai, Piploo, Raipur and Umedsagar 2 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Banda 4, Etawah and Shardanagar 3 each, Ankinghat, Bhatpurwaghat and Regoli 2 each and Bansi, Elginbridge, Mirzapur and Mukhlishpur 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Kalpi 3, Jhansi 2 and Bareilly and Mohana 1 each and Uttaranchal: Hardwar 2 and Banbasa and Mukteshwar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 17: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, a few places in Haryana and Punjab and at isolated places in the rest of the region.
