Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have been reported at a few places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, east Rajasthan, east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in Haryana and west Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Dhundhi, Khairi and Solangnala 3 each; Bhang 2 and Chauraha, Mandi and Pandoh 1 each; Jammu and Kashmir: Pahalgam 1; east Rajasthan: Urmilasagar 2 and Moreldam 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Allahabad 6, Banda and Chillaghat 4 each; Chhatnag and Fatehgarh 3 each; Jaunpur and Mirzapur 2 each and Auraiya and Turtipar 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 5 and Kalpi 2 and Uttaranchal: Dehra Dun 5 and Haripur and Rudraprayag 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of September 11: Rain or thundershowers are likely at many places in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and east Rajasthan and at isolated places in west Rajasthan.
