Monsoon has been active in east Rajasthan.

Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in east Rajasthan and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana — Dadri Toye 6, Tajewala 3, Jind and Karnal 2 each and Bhiwani 1; Himachal Pradesh — Dharamsala 3 and Kahu, Nahan and Pandoh 1 each; east Rajasthan — Chikali 12, Galiakot 10, Dhambola 7, Sagwara 5, Dungarpur 4, Atru, Buhana, Jakhamdam, Kanba and Veja 3 each, Anta, Asind, Chhabra, Chipabrod, Govindgarh, Jhalawar and Kishanganj 2 each and Aspur, Dausa, Deeg, Kota AP, Nadoti, Sikar and Udaipur City 1 each; west Uttar Pradesh — Hindon 2; and Uttaranchal — Uttarkashi 5, Dehradun and Pantnagar 2 each and Haripur 1.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 26: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.

Heavy rainfall warning: Isolated heavy rain is likely in Himachal Pradesh, east Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal during the next 48 hours.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of August 26: Mainly cloudy sky with a few spells of rain/thundershowers.
