Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, at a few places in Haryana and west Rajasthan and at isolated places in Punjab. Weather was dry in Jammu and Kashmir. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Mohna 8, Ayanagar and Masani Barrage 5 each, Dhansa and Dadri Toye 3 each and Delhi Ridge and New Delhi (Palam and Safdarjung) 2 each, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 2 and Nadaun, Rampur Bushahr, Sundernagar and Sunibhaji 1 each, Punjab: Halwara 2, east Rajasthan: Kaman 15, Pahari and Sawai Madhopur 8 each, Bonli, Govindgarh and Neemrana 5 each, Aligarh, Aklera, Deeg, Kumher, Khandar and Tizara 4 each, Bamanwas, Kathumer, Manoharthana, Niwai and Nagar 3 each, Asnawar, Khanpur, Nadbai, Rawatbhata, Shahpura, Sikar, Sapotra, Shahbad and Thanagaji 2 each and Neem ka Thana and Phagi 1 each, west Rajasthan: Rajgarh 1, east Uttar Pradesh: Jaunpur 7, Fatehgarh 5, Bansi, Bhatpurwaghat, Katerniaghat and Sultanpur 3 each, Ankinghat, Balrampur, Chandradeepghat, Ghazipur and Kakrahi 2 each and Ayodhya, Basti, Shardanagar and Varanasi A.P. 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Dabri 6, Hindon and Narora 3 each, Bareilly 2 and Mathura 1, and Uttaranchal: Haripur and Marora 4 each, Hardwar and Pantnagar 1 each.

Forecast valid until the morning of August 17: Rain or thundershowers will occur at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, east Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and at a few places in the rest of the region.
