Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at most places in east Rajasthan, at many places in Himachal Pradesh, at a few places in Haryana, Punjab, west Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Haryana: Dadupur 5 and Jagadhri and Sirsa 3 each, Himachal Pradesh: Rampur Bushahr 5, Guler and Kasol 3 each and Kahu and Shimla 2 each, Jammu and Kahsmir: Pahalgam 2, Punjab: Bathinda 8 and Halwara 3, east Rajasthan: Baswa 5, Mahuwa 4, Bari, Bharatpur, Bandikui, Gopalpur, Jhalawar, Lalsot, Radiadam, Sikari and Talabshahi 3 each, Basan, Moralsagar, Rahuwas, Saipau, Urmilsagar and Umedsagar 2 each and Besali Dam, Baran, Kota and Rajakhera 1 each, west Rajasthan: Churu 4 and Sriganganagar 2, east Uttar Pradesh: Banda and Chillaghat 2 each and Chhatnag and Kanpur 1 each, west Uttar Pradesh: Jhansi 4 and Agra, Auraiya and Mohana 3 each and Uttaranchal: Banbasa and Mukteshwar 1 each.
