Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at many places in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and east Rajasthan, at a few places in west Rajasthan and Uttaranchal and at isolated places in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cm are: Haryana: Naraingarh 9, Chandigarh 8, Kalka 7, Jagdhari 5, Delhi Ridge and Masani 2 each and Ambala, Ayanagar, New Delhi (Palam) and Tajewala 1 each, Himachal Pradesh: Kasol 18, Rajgarh 6, Sundernagar 4, Sunibhaji 3, Dharampur, Karsog, Rohru and Solangnala 2 each and Berthin, Kotkhai, Kandaghat, Kasauli, Rampur Bushar and Shimla 1 each, Jammu and Kashmir: Jammu 1, east Rajasthan: Kota A.P. and Udaipur 7 each, Badgaon 4, Jahajpur, Orai Dam, Ramgarh Dam, Rashmi, Srimadhopur and Sandesar 3 each, Amer, Arnod, Baneda, Jhalawar, Pratapgarh and Udaipur Vati 2 each and Arvar Dam, Chandrabhaga, Hurda, Gangapur, Gulabpura, Matri Kundia, Mandal and Sikar 1 each, west Rajasthan: Bikaner and Jaisalmer 1 each, east Uttar Pradesh: Basti, Ghazipur and Mukhlishpur 2 each and Bani and Chillaghat 1 each West Uttar Pradesh: Mohana 2 and Uttaranchal: Uttarkashi 11 and Joshimath 4.
