Rainfall: Rain or thundershowers have occurred at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh. Weather was mainly dry in the rest of the region. The chief amounts of rainfall in cms are: Himachal Pradesh: Pandoh 2 and Bharwain and Solan 1 each.

Temperatures: past 24-hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Uttaranchal and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal, above normal in Haryana and east Rajasthan, below normal in Jammu and Kashmir and normal in the rest of the region. The highest temperature in the region was 45.3C recorded at Allahabad.

Forecast valid until the morning of June 15: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of June 15: Mainly clear sky with dust haze. Duststorm/thunderstorm accompanied by squall is likely in some areas. Maximum temperature will be around 42°C.

Farmers’ weather bulletin for Delhi: forecast valid until the morning of June 15: Duststorm/thunderstorm with light rain is likely at a few places. Squall with wind speed exceeding 65 km.p.h. is likely at isolated places.
