Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures changed little. Departures: They were appreciably above normal in Rajasthan, appreciably below normal in east Uttar Pradesh and normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 45.1°C recorded at Barmer (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of May 14, 2003: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Uttaranchal. Isolated duststorm/thunderstorm is likely in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
