Singh slams century for Sonnet New Delhi, April 15 DSI won the toss and opted to field. Sonnet made merry on the fresh wicket as Yashpal and Mayank indulged in a batting blitzkrieg to enable their team to post a handsome total of 256 for 4 in 40 overs. DSI miserably failed to chase such a huge target as their wickets crashed like nine pins, unable to face the hostile bowling spells of Karan Harit (4 for 25) and Chetanya Nanda (2 for 24). Yashpal Singh was presented the Pepsi man of the match award by chief guest Anil Sood. Sonnet Club made 256 for 4 in 40 overs.

JNST lift Commonwealth cricket title New Delhi, April 15 JNST won the toss and elected to bat. Vivek Razdan and Sunil Narula put on a 122-run third-wicket partnership to give a sound start to the JNST innings. And then dismissed the British High Commission cheaply to race to victory comfortably. Chief guest Mark Runacres inaugurated the final match. British High Commissioner Sir Bob Young gave away the prizes. Sunil Narula was named the best batsman while Sarkar Talwar got the best bowler award.
