Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Maximum temperatures rose in Himachal Pradesh and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were markedly above normal in Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, west Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal and appreciably above normal in the rest of the region.

The highest temperature in the region was 44.0°C recorded at Dholpur (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of April 15: Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Duststorm/ thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Rajasthan. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of April 15: Hot day. Mainly clear sky with dust haze. Maximum temperature will be around 40°C.

Farmers weather bulletin for Delhi forecast valid until the morning of April 15: Sky will be mainly clear.

Outlook for the subsequent two days: No large change.
