Brian Silas, Pradip Rao perform
Our Correspondent

Ludhiana, February 22
City residents listened to the music rendered by Brian Silas on the piano at Guru Nanak Bhawan last evening. Brian took the residents to a world of yesteryear with melodies of Hindi movies. “Ayega ayega aane wala” and the Nagin number “Mera man dole , mera tan dole... cast a spell.

The piano concert was brought to music lovers by the Ludhiana Sanskritik Samagam. Brian played by the ear and displayed his innovative style. His rendering of TU pyar ka nagma hai, din jo pakheru hote and Maduban mein Radhika nacche re girdhar ki muralian baaje re and dost dost na raha was perfect.

In another part of the programme mynd storm Pradip Rao mingled fact and fantasy to create an awesome impact.

Mr Rao read thoughts of some in the audience. He asked a girl to do ‘remote viewing’. She was told to think of a hotel in Goa. She was to cross a huge lobby and reach the elevator. Mr Rao asked her the floor she would like to go. The girl answered 9. After walking the long corridor, she reached the last room and looked up to read the room number 909. Mr Rao had the number 909 imprinted on his zippered key pouch in his pocket.

He distributed books to six volunteers. To another six he asked to write a two digit number each. He asked a person to total it and the number was 68. He asked the volunteers to open the book on page 68 and remember the first word of the page. He reproduced all the words.

A girl was able to guess rightly the world he was reading. He chose different people and asked the people if they thought their life was preor-dained?

He concluded by flashing the adage “the mind is everything”.
