Rainfall: Weather was mainly dry over the region.

Temperatures: Past 24 hours change: Minimum temperatures fell in Jammu and Kashmir and changed little elsewhere.

Departures: They were appreciably above normal in east Uttar Pradesh, below normal in west Rajasthan and normal in the rest of the region.

The lowest temperature in the plains was 4.2°C recorded at Suratgarh and Sriganganagar (Rajasthan).

Forecast valid until the morning of February 6: Rain or snow is likely at isolated places in Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Uttaranchal. Rain or thundershowers are likely at isolated places in east Uttar Pradesh. Weather will be mainly dry in the rest of the region.

Forecast for Delhi and neighbourhood valid until the morning of February 6: Mainly clear sky. Mist in the morning. Sunny day. Minimum temperature will be around 7°C.
